Are You Ready for What's Coming Your Way?

Plus, Your Energy Update for the Week of December 22 - 28, 2025.

Dear Beloved Friend,

This week, we’re reflecting on the quiet power of giving.

Since the beginning of time, humans have shared gifts to honor the Divine, to express love for one another, and to strengthen the bonds of community. Long before giving became entangled with pressure or performance, it was an act of reverence. A way of saying thank you. A way of saying you matter.

While modern consumerism has certainly added weight to this tradition—sometimes asking us to give beyond our means—we’re feeling called this year to return to its roots.

We give from our surplus.

Pause for a moment and reflect on what you have in abundance right now, and how that surplus might be shared. Perhaps you have treats, treasures, or small offerings ready to pass along this season. Or perhaps what you have most available is time.

It has been a full year for so many of us. What if we slowed down enough to share the gift of our presence, rather than more presents? To sit, to listen, to laugh, to simply be with the ones we love.

And if you find yourself alone this holiday. Is there someone else who may also be alone—someone whose life could be gently blessed by the gift of your presence? Perhaps it is the Divine who is eager to share the gift of time with you.

As we reflect on our surplus this year has brought us, we honor the overflowing love, devotion, presence, connection, gratitude, and grace that we have to share more of with others.

We are hosting our children and grandchildren this holiday and will be taking the next two weeks to share our suplus with them. There are gifts under the tree, food ready to be prepared in the pantry, and love overflowing in our hearts. We are grateful for this opportunhity to give and experience the deepening of connection that sharing brings us.

May this holiday season give us all time to rest, restore, and nurture our hearts. May this time help to refill our cups so that we can return renewed and overflowing for the new blessings that will soon be entering our lives.

Until then, may your giving be gentle.
May your presence be felt.
And may what you share return to you multiplied in love.

Many Blessings,

Matt and Joy Kahn

Why It's Hard Keeping Up With Spiritual Practices
Ā  Hi Lovebug, Most people abandon a spiritual practice for one reason: it did not deliver the experience they wanted fast enough. We treat meditation, prayer, breathwork, journaling, or energy work like a vending machine — insert twenty minutes, receive calm, clarity, a healed relationship, or a signed client. And when the payoff does not arrive on schedule, we conclude the practice is not wor...
You Did Not 'Attract That' To Learn A Lesson
Ā  Dear Lovebug,Healing is not an itemized list of things wrong with us that must be corrected before life is allowed to feel good. Healing is the power of course correction — the ability to notice we have drifted a few degrees off, and to choose again. That distinction changes everything, because a list can never be finished, while a course can always be adjusted. Consider how arduous the jour...
What To Do When Someone Gets You Wrong
Dearest Lovebug, Some moments don't go as imagined. We say something or do something and the response from others is unexpected. Misunderstandings are at the heart of most communication mishaps so we wanted to dive into that topic with you today. When someone gets you wrong, the instinct to correct them is the exact thing that costs you the most. We all know the feeling. You are in a conversati...
