Feeling Frozen in a Decision? You’re not alone.

Dear Beloved Friend,

In our private community this week, we shared about the energy of decision-making and how overwhelming it can feel when you don’t know which way to turn, or when you’ve tried everything and still aren’t seeing the results you hoped for.

If you’ve ever felt frozen in inaction… or found yourself moving forward only to end up in the same patterns again, we want you to know: You’re not alone. We’ve been there too.

Here’s what we’ve discovered:

🌿 The mind can analyze every option, but without the heart’s compassion it rarely feels peaceful.
🌿 The heart can dream of what’s possible, but without the gut’s courage it can remain only a dream.
🌿 The gut can push for instinctive action, but without the mind’s discernment it can be hard to trust.

True clarity comes when these three centers of intelligence begin working together. That’s when the heaviness lifts, and the next step feels lighter, calmer, and more aligned.

We’ve been reflecting on this so much that we’re creating something new to guide you through aligning your own inner compass. We’ll be sharing more soon but for now, may this be your reminder:

You don’t have to rush into certainty. Even the smallest step in trust can open the way forward.

With all our love,
Matt & Joy

PS: Speaking of trust… when we wrote Awakening of Intelligence, we followed the pull to step forward and lead in the future of consciousness. Since its release, we’ve been honored to share our perspective on the future of AI in many ways, including Joy’s recent feature in Authority Magazine. You can read it here: Women Leaders of AI

Have you fallen into this trap?
One of the most common ways the spiritual ego hides is behind a single phrase: "I shouldn't have to want." Many sensitive, deeply spiritual people have been taught that wanting things is an attachment. We learn to transcend desire, to be okay with whatever happens, and to view wanting as a sign that we are not fully surrendered. But there is a profound difference between surrendering to the flo...
Why we retreat when we actually crave connection
There is a painful, quiet dance that many sensitive people do: we crave deep, soul-nourishing connection, but we retreat into isolation because we are exhausted by the thought of managing other people's expectations. When we look closely at our patterns, it is very common to find that what we call "self-care" is actually a defense mechanism. We meet someone new, we feel that beautiful spark of ...
The Hidden Source of our Deepest Family Frustration
There is a quiet, profound dynamic that plays out in almost every family system, yet it is rarely spoken about until we are deep into our own healing journey. It is this: The parent we are most frustrated with is usually not the parent where the problem originated. When we look back at our childhoods, it is very common to feel massive, unresolved frustration toward the parent who was always the...
