Plus, Your Energy Update for the Week of December 15 - 21, 2025.

Dear Beloved Friend,

This week, we’re inviting you into the art of noticing.

A few mornings ago, we were sitting at our favorite local breakfast spot, doing a simple practice we return to often when we’re out in the world: silently blessing everyone around us — may you be blessed by the Divine. No effort. No expectation. Just quiet devotion moving through the room.

As we waited for our order, our conversation drifted toward childbirth and parenthood — the holy tension of wanting to love perfectly, while knowing that as humans, we can’t. We do our best. We show up. And ultimately, we surrender the rest to the Divine, trusting that love itself is what carries our children… and all of us.

Just behind us, a couple at the next table paused as their food arrived. Heads bowed, hands still, they began praying over their meal. The room felt momentarily hushed — as if something unseen had been invited in and lovingly acknowledged.

Only moments later, we overheard a woman at a nearby table recognize someone across the room. She stood, smiled, and said hello. In the next breath, she explained that she had been the labor and delivery nurse who helped bring the other woman’s daughter into the world two years earlier. As she spoke, the mother was holding that little girl in her arms — the very life she had helped usher into being.

They shared a moment of remembering. Of gratitude. Of awe.

With tears in our eyes, we witnessed it all — the prayer, the recognition, the child held between past and present — the timing, the tenderness, the quiet perfection of it. We felt how that moment wasn’t only for them, but for us too. A living reminder of how intimately woven this world really is.

There is a divine orchestration moving through all of our lives — threading conversations, encounters, memories, and meaning together in ways we could never plan. Our invitation this week is simple: notice. Get curious about what’s unfolding around you. Ask yourself what you’re being shown… and what you’re being invited into.

May your days be filled with gentle reminders of your devotion, your belonging, and the Love that is always guiding you — often through the most unexpected moments.

Love,

Matt and Joy Kahn

Have you fallen into this trap?
One of the most common ways the spiritual ego hides is behind a single phrase: "I shouldn't have to want." Many sensitive, deeply spiritual people have been taught that wanting things is an attachment. We learn to transcend desire, to be okay with whatever happens, and to view wanting as a sign that we are not fully surrendered. But there is a profound difference between surrendering to the flo...
Why we retreat when we actually crave connection
There is a painful, quiet dance that many sensitive people do: we crave deep, soul-nourishing connection, but we retreat into isolation because we are exhausted by the thought of managing other people's expectations. When we look closely at our patterns, it is very common to find that what we call "self-care" is actually a defense mechanism. We meet someone new, we feel that beautiful spark of ...
The Hidden Source of our Deepest Family Frustration
There is a quiet, profound dynamic that plays out in almost every family system, yet it is rarely spoken about until we are deep into our own healing journey. It is this: The parent we are most frustrated with is usually not the parent where the problem originated. When we look back at our childhoods, it is very common to feel massive, unresolved frustration toward the parent who was always the...
