We Had to Take a Pause...

Jan 30, 2025
Connect

Hello Beloved,

We sat down to write you an email and paused to connect in with what we wanted to share with you. There have been so many teachings this week that have inspired us and we just couldn’t fit them all in one email. So we paused…

In front of us, outside the window was a Blue Jay. This happy little bird was jumping from limb to limb of the barren tree branches. Snow glistened on the ground beneath the tree, the red rocks seemed to be just a bit deeper in color than before, and the chorus of singing birds grew as they began to land near and around the Blue Jay. It was a moment of Divine Perfection – everything happening in perfect timing, creating a harmony of bliss for us to enjoy.

When we don’t know what the next step is, we often practice the power of interruption. It is in that moment of pause that we can connect and redirect our thoughts, feelings, and actions in the direction we most want to go. Had we not paused, we aren’t sure what we would have shared, but because we paused, we remembered what felt most important to share with you today – our new video on the power of interruption.

May this video touch you in a way you may not have expected. We hope it brings a moment of pause and a welcome invitation to spend more time with you.

Live Brightly,

Here's the latest video:

This week's video is a deeply personal share. We are living a life that love more each day, but it wasn't always that way for us. We have both spent time feeling stuck and uncertain about how to stop the patterns of thought that just don't seem to go away. We found a loving approach to interrupting that cycle that helped us break our addiction to temporary relief -- to experience profound and lasting change. Click on the image below to watch it now.

Why It's Hard Keeping Up With Spiritual Practices
Hi Lovebug, Most people abandon a spiritual practice for one reason: it did not deliver the experience they wanted fast enough. We treat meditation, prayer, breathwork, journaling, or energy work like a vending machine — insert twenty minutes, receive calm, clarity, a healed relationship, or a signed client. And when the payoff does not arrive on schedule, we conclude the practice is not wor...
You Did Not 'Attract That' To Learn A Lesson
Dear Lovebug,Healing is not an itemized list of things wrong with us that must be corrected before life is allowed to feel good. Healing is the power of course correction — the ability to notice we have drifted a few degrees off, and to choose again. That distinction changes everything, because a list can never be finished, while a course can always be adjusted. Consider how arduous the jour...
What To Do When Someone Gets You Wrong
Dearest Lovebug, Some moments don't go as imagined. We say something or do something and the response from others is unexpected. Misunderstandings are at the heart of most communication mishaps so we wanted to dive into that topic with you today. When someone gets you wrong, the instinct to correct them is the exact thing that costs you the most. We all know the feeling. You are in a conversati...
