We Had to Take a Pause...

Jan 30, 2025
Connect

Hello Beloved,

We sat down to write you an email and paused to connect in with what we wanted to share with you. There have been so many teachings this week that have inspired us and we just couldn’t fit them all in one email. So we paused…

In front of us, outside the window was a Blue Jay. This happy little bird was jumping from limb to limb of the barren tree branches. Snow glistened on the ground beneath the tree, the red rocks seemed to be just a bit deeper in color than before, and the chorus of singing birds grew as they began to land near and around the Blue Jay. It was a moment of Divine Perfection – everything happening in perfect timing, creating a harmony of bliss for us to enjoy.

When we don’t know what the next step is, we often practice the power of interruption. It is in that moment of pause that we can connect and redirect our thoughts, feelings, and actions in the direction we most want to go. Had we not paused, we aren’t sure what we would have shared, but because we paused, we remembered what felt most important to share with you today – our new video on the power of interruption.

May this video touch you in a way you may not have expected. We hope it brings a moment of pause and a welcome invitation to spend more time with you.

Live Brightly,

Here's the latest video:

This week's video is a deeply personal share. We are living a life that love more each day, but it wasn't always that way for us. We have both spent time feeling stuck and uncertain about how to stop the patterns of thought that just don't seem to go away. We found a loving approach to interrupting that cycle that helped us break our addiction to temporary relief -- to experience profound and lasting change. Click on the image below to watch it now.

Have you fallen into this trap?
One of the most common ways the spiritual ego hides is behind a single phrase: "I shouldn't have to want." Many sensitive, deeply spiritual people have been taught that wanting things is an attachment. We learn to transcend desire, to be okay with whatever happens, and to view wanting as a sign that we are not fully surrendered. But there is a profound difference between surrendering to the flo...
Why we retreat when we actually crave connection
There is a painful, quiet dance that many sensitive people do: we crave deep, soul-nourishing connection, but we retreat into isolation because we are exhausted by the thought of managing other people's expectations. When we look closely at our patterns, it is very common to find that what we call "self-care" is actually a defense mechanism. We meet someone new, we feel that beautiful spark of ...
The Hidden Source of our Deepest Family Frustration
There is a quiet, profound dynamic that plays out in almost every family system, yet it is rarely spoken about until we are deep into our own healing journey. It is this: The parent we are most frustrated with is usually not the parent where the problem originated. When we look back at our childhoods, it is very common to feel massive, unresolved frustration toward the parent who was always the...
