When Letting Go Feels Impossible

Dear Beloved Friend,

Last week, we opened up about the unexpected portal that AI led us through, a conversation that was as much about presence as it was about the future.

This week, we’re going even deeper.
Not into technology.
But into something much more human. Much more tender.

Grief.

Before we move on, we have a live YouTube call this Friday, June 27th at Noon (Pacific Time). We will be providing an Energy Update for July 2025 as well as answering some of your most thought-provoking questions. We look forward to being with you soon. Join us on Friday HERE.

We didn’t plan to record this conversation.
It was sparked by a message from one of you, asking how we got through it. The heartbreak. The loss. The letting go.

So, we sat down and told the truth. Without planning, we shared things we’ve never shared publicly.

In this episode of The Timing Effect Podcast, we talk about the grief that shaped us and the quiet ways we tried to escape it.

🎧 LISTEN ON APPLE | LISTEN ON SPOTIFY | WATCH ON YOUTUBE

We share:

đź’” The moments that broke us open
đź’” The ways we tried to bypass grief (and how it caught up with us anyway)
💔 The real reason healing didn’t begin until we stopped trying to "get over it"
đź’” The sacred structure we eventually found inside the mess

This isn’t just about the grief of losing someone.

It’s about the grief of becoming someone new.

If you’re carrying something heavy right now, we hope this conversation meets you gently, like a hand on your back, reminding you that you’re not alone. That you’re not broken. That your healing has its own timeline.

We’re walking with you.

With love and timing,
Matt & Joy

PS: Next week, we’re exploring surrender. Not the kind that gives up, but the kind that lets go. We’ll talk about what real surrender feels like and why giving in might be the bravest thing you do.

Have you fallen into this trap?
One of the most common ways the spiritual ego hides is behind a single phrase: "I shouldn't have to want." Many sensitive, deeply spiritual people have been taught that wanting things is an attachment. We learn to transcend desire, to be okay with whatever happens, and to view wanting as a sign that we are not fully surrendered. But there is a profound difference between surrendering to the flo...
Why we retreat when we actually crave connection
There is a painful, quiet dance that many sensitive people do: we crave deep, soul-nourishing connection, but we retreat into isolation because we are exhausted by the thought of managing other people's expectations. When we look closely at our patterns, it is very common to find that what we call "self-care" is actually a defense mechanism. We meet someone new, we feel that beautiful spark of ...
The Hidden Source of our Deepest Family Frustration
There is a quiet, profound dynamic that plays out in almost every family system, yet it is rarely spoken about until we are deep into our own healing journey. It is this: The parent we are most frustrated with is usually not the parent where the problem originated. When we look back at our childhoods, it is very common to feel massive, unresolved frustration toward the parent who was always the...
